Free inquiry project week 3

This week I learned how to increase and decrease stitches which will be useful for when I start my frog project. Increasing and decreasing when crocheting was a lot easier than I expected; doing it in knitting is much harder, so I was pleasantly surprised. Learning how to crochet a circle on the other hand, was extremely challenging. You need to turn a weird almost slip knot into something called a magic circle. Then you need to keep the right amount of tension, while you squeeze a bunch of stitches into a tiny circle. I’ve been practicing doing a few circles every day and I think I may be starting to get the hang of it, but it is still pretty hard. The frog I am making requires me to make 9 magic circles, so I guess I am going to get a lot of practice!
